This May I made the U18 BC White Team and we competed in the Canadian Nationals, hosted in Brampton Ontario, this summer. It was a round-robin tournament style and we came 3rd overall in a bronze medal game against PEI narrowly missing making the gold game on goal differential as we were in a three-way tie for points with Ontario and BC Blue. Throughout the tournament, we only lost one game out of six to Ontario but we beat BC Blue who ended up winning gold. We were disappointed to not have a chance in the final but I am very proud of our team as we played strongly and were consistently one of the top teams throughout the tournament.
