This summer of 2022, I made the top U16 B.C. Provincial Team and was invited to participate in the Canadian National Championships from August 11th-13th. My team fought hard and took home gold in the finals against Team Ontario. After our initial tryouts in May, once our team was selected, we participated in and won the India Club Tournament in Surrey B.C. and then trained three to four times a week throughout July. Getting to Nationals was an amazing experience filled with quality training and skills practice as well as mental development. I made so many new friends and we worked together to play as a team. I learned so much this summer, on and off the field. I am so thankful to have had the experience to play with so many talented players and to get the chance to represent my province.
