June 24-26th 2022 I participated in the India Club tournament held at Tamanawis fields in Surrey, B.C.. I played with Team B.C. and it was our first time on the field together as a team. We had three games Friday, we then made it to the semifinals on Saturday and the finals against Sea to Sky on Sunday. We ended up winning the tounament which was very exciting. It was a great way to get to know eachother and throughout the weekend I got to practice a variety of positions I don’t usually play such as rover and defense which was a great learning experience for me.
