Academic Achievements

Strong Student – Currently in grade 12 – “A” grade average.

Languages – Fluent in English and French, taking Spanish (for almost 4 years).

Public Speaking – Made it to multiple district competitions for Concours d’art oratoire French public speaking.

Athletic :

Selected for the U18 Canadian National Team – Touring in Scotland and Wales in March 2024
Chosen as one of the All Star Athletes for high school AAA field hockey – 2023
Part of NextGen Canada Field Hockey program – 2023/2024
Team BC Field Hockey 2022 and 2023
Won AAA high school field hockey provincials in the 2022 and 2023 seasons
Won AAA high school Cross Country provincials in the 2022 and 2023 seasons

Volunteering and Work

I work at West Vancouver Ice Arena and teach ice skating to kids ages 3-13. – September 2021, ongoing.
I volunteered to coach a U9 in-line roller hockey team for the local league (NSIHL) and won the “Junior Coach of the Year” award. – April to June 2023
I am volunteering to be a councillor at outdoor school (an outdoor education camp run through elementary school). – February and May 2023
I volunteered once a week to help kids with Autism learn to play hockey. – Spring of 2022
Taught grade 5 and 6 from a nearby elementary school how to play field hockey through my schools academy program. – Spring of 2022
I volunteered to help with my schools “grade 8 retreat” to lead games and activities. – Fall 2022
Made and gave out supplies bags to the homeless at Christmas. – Winter of 2019

FHBC U18 Provincial team (white team) – I was selected for this team and we won bronze against PEI at the Canadian Nationals this past summer – 2023
Handsworth Secondary School field hockey team – Won AAA High School Provincials – 2023 – Won Bridgman Cup Tournament – 2023 – Won gold at 2022 BC Provincial Senior Girls Championship. FHBC U16 Provincial Team (Blue Team) – Summer 2022. Won gold at Canadian National Championships

This is an athlete report from my FHBC U16 coach (Paul Chohan) summer, 2022

Handsworth High School Cross Country – 2019 ongoing – BC AAA Senior Girls provincial champions for the 2023/2024 XC school season. – Won AAA Senior girls High School Provincials and placed 13th – 2023 – Won Gold as lead runner on the Senior Girls High School XC Team at BC Provincials in the 2022/2023 school season. – Here is an article from our local newspaper that I am featured in: click here – Finished 16th out of 215 runners in BC XC Provincials in grade 11. – Finished 30th out of 250 runners in BC XC Provincials running for senior (grade 11-12) girls team while in grade 10 in the 2021/2022 school year
