November 8th-10th the AAA B.C. High-School Provincials were hosted in Chilliwack. There were 12 teams competing and Handsworth went undefeated! We beat Churchill in the semi-finals on Thursday to move on to beat Cowichan Secondary and win Provincials for the 2nd year in a row! Winning Provincials led us to the title of Grand-Slam; having previously won North Shores, Sea to Sky and Bridgman Cup we became the most decorated team in Handsworth field hockey history! I was one of the teams co-captains, along with Stella Goddard-Despot and we played mid together the entire tournament, succesfully defending and moving the ball upfield. I am also the injector for all of our teams short corners. It was a fun tournament and a great way to end an amazing season and my high-school field hockey career.
